We Won First Place! 🥇

Hi Global Strays Partner,

I hope you're great. I’m excited to let you know that last Friday, Global Strays won 1st place in the Judges Choice Award at the inaugural “Catwalk Furbaby” fashion show hosted by Elysian Magazine during New York Fashion Week. We competed against ten animal rescue nonprofits for various prizes, each who selected their own designer, model, and animal to walk the runway.

I wanted to personally thank you for being part of the Global Strays family and believing in us. The outpouring of love we have been receiving is heartwarming.

Quinn Copeland (pictured left) is a 9-year-old model, actress, and animal lover. Our model choice represents our emphasis on educating the next generation, who will pave the way for the future humane treatment of all animals.

Model Quinn holds Harry, a former stray chihuahua from Puerto Rico. Also pictured is his brother Fede, a disabled former stray dog from Mexico.

Aptly titled, "The Future of Animal Welfare", our piece by eco-friendly designer, Gloria Lee, uses our brand colors and depicts a map of the world as the skirt and the face of a dog as the bodice, emphasizing our logo and global identity.

We took home a $75,000 cash prize which will be used to further help stray animals in the most impoverished areas of the world. The funds will also be used to expand our education programs to even more locations.
