Hi Global Strays Partner,

We know you're dealing with major changes to your routine at this unprecedented time. As you adjust to a new schedule and more time at home, one silver lining is that you can spend much more quality time with your pet. We came up with some fun activities you can enjoy at home together:
1. Bake treats at your home for your pet. Baking treats for your pet allows you to know exactly what ingredients are in them. Check out these recipes for some inspiration! Our dog’s favorite is The Frozen Watermelon Treats (#9).
2. Have you tried dog yoga (doga)? See if your pup wants to get in on the action with some downward dog and child's pose. Pro tip: don't force it, just let your pet's curiosity lead the way. They won't all be as good as this chihuahua but give it a shot! Check out this adorable video.
3. The Great Outdoors. A great way to bond with your pet is to go on walks or play in the yard (if you have one). We all need some fresh air to stay sane during these times. Going on walks is so important for your dog, and also a great form of exercise for yourself.
4. Bath Time. If your dog doesn't mind the water, try giving them a bath once a week. Bathing your pet makes them feel and smell so much better & it’s another bonding experience. If you have a yard, you could bathe your dog outside on one of these nice spring days! Click here for some recommended dog-friendly shampoos.
5. Movie Night. Cuddle up on the couch with your furry friend to watch something you'll both enjoy. A personal favorite of our's is The Secret Life of Pets. For some other great options click here!

There has never been a better opportunity to really enjoy all the extra time you get to spend together, so take advantage!

Warmly,

Elizabeth Shafiroff
