Hey Global Strays Partner,

Amar, amar, amar, amar siempre, con todo
Love, love, love, love always, with everything

-Amo, amas by Rubén Darío

I hope your Valentine’s Day has gotten off to a heartfelt start. Today, we have some excellent news for you. Tom and Milo have been struck by cupid’s arrow: their forever homes have found them!

Affectionately referred to as “Lover Boy,” Tom was found in a critical state, abandoned and alone in a park in Managua, Nicaragua. One of our partners, Fundación Adan, guided by cupid, came to the rescue. Thankfully, after some R&R with the help of Global Strays, Tom has quite literally hit the jackpot.

Adopted on January 23rd, Diego, his dad, has this to say about Tom (now known as Dozer): “Whatever he’s been through it’s still incredible to me that he still has all this love and he’s just so happy...There’s so much about him that’s awesome.” Life can be especially hard for pitbulls, since they are often used as guard dogs or fight dogs, so it’s phenomenal to know he’s in a loving home.

Milo was the face of our holiday newsletter last year with his rescuer, Mabia Espinoza of Rescatando Huellas after making leaps and bounds in his recovery. A family that deserves his love and affection has unlocked his heart. He was adopted on February 6th.
Both of these lucky pups had a breathtaking transformation over the last few months. If you would like to view Tom or Milo the day they were rescued click here for Tom & here for Milo (warning: these photos may be upsetting).

Take the day to reflect on what really matters to you and the love that surrounds you.

Love, love, love, love always, with everything.,

Liz & the Global Strays Team
