Hi Global Strays Partner,

I hope you’re enjoying your week. I wanted to share an update with you about our ongoing clinics in Nicaragua for underserved communities with pets. In the last two months, we have spayed or neutered 177 dogs and 112 cats. We also provided veterinary care to families with pets in Barrio Roberto Clemente, Barrio Carlos Nuñez and Barrio Luis Vanegas.

Pictured below are Angel Diaz and Surayma with their dog Pinta. Pinta received dewormers, vaccinations, and vitamins at our clinic on September 4th. She was also spayed. Pinta is very malnourished, so Angel and Surayma received dog food from the Global Strays COVID Pet Food Pantry Program.

Angel & Surayma needed access to basic veterinary care and dog food, and turned to Global Strays for support. Without these programs, dogs like Pinta wouldn't have a fighting chance. All over the world, families are searching for veterinary care and other services for their pets. With your support, we can reach rural communities that have nowhere to turn. We've been receiving weekly phone calls from clinic participants thanking our facilitators and asking when they will return (see below more photos of grateful participants from our recent clinics).

Providing veterinary care on top of spay and neutering services is costly, and we rely solely on individual donors to make these clinics possible. For the sake of these families and their pets, I am asking you to consider a donation to Global Strays today. Families are facing severe economic challenges due to COVID and beyond. Your donation today will have an immediate impact for families struggling to support themselves and provide basic care to their pets. We need your help to continue serving these communities.

For example:

  • With a $25 gift, you can provide veterinary care including spay or neutering to 1 dog or cat.

  • With a $50 gift, you can provide veterinary care including spay or neutering to 2 dogs or 2 cats.

  • With a $75 gift, you can provide veterinary care including spay or neutering to 3 dogs or 3 cats.

  • With a $100 gift, you can provide veterinary care including spay or neutering to 4 dogs or 4 cats.

Right now you can make an even bigger impact for the lives of animals suffering across the globe when you become a monthly donor. A monthly donation ensures that, even in these unique and challenging times, we can continue providing veterinary care for struggling families and rescue animals.

Give Monthly

Thank you in advance for your generosity and compassion for those in need.

Warmly,
