At Global Strays, we are working to address the fundamental root causes of animal homelessness, one being the lack of proper, safe, and efficient spay and neutering programs. Many pet owners across the globe want to properly care for their animals, but lack the resources to do so. In the countries we work, the majority of animals wind up homeless & on the streets, since families cannot care for all the litters of puppies or kittens their pets produce.
At our most recent clinic on October 22nd, 95 animals were spayed or neutered from several Nicaraguan communities, for pet owners who could not otherwise afford it.
