Diego is all too familiar with the suffering of these strays. For example, he tells us that female dogs in heat are often attacked by as many as 20 male dogs, many of whom end up killing each other in their pursuit.

The thing is, Global Strays Partner, just focusing on rescuing strays unfortunately only skims the surface of the problem. Global Strays addresses the ongoing overpopulation of strays by providing free spay and neutering (S/N) services to countless pet owners so that would-be-litters of puppies don’t end up on the streets. This is the best and most effective long-term solution.
The need for more clinics is so overwhelming that we’ve committed to S/N 3,000+ animals in 2024, but we can’t do it without your help.
