Can you believe we’ve been helping animals around the world for 8 WHOLE YEARS? Today, on our anniversary, listen to Liz tell the story of how it all began. Deeply moved by the sight of stray animals suffering on the streets, Liz’s trip to Nicaragua all those years ago would be the start of a life-long commitment to end animal suffering in the most far-to-reach places.

Through our programs, we not only aid shelters and animal rescuers, but also provide free resources and education to the community–for both children and adults. We recognize the crucial link between animal welfare and community support. As we celebrate our 8th anniversary, we eagerly ask that you make a donation, no matter how small. What an incredibly successful event! We had so much fun meeting new friends (like @parker.dachshund) and mingling with all the NY pet lovers at @chateaulewoof. We had a great panel discussion with @drchristinarahm of @billandcoo_bydrc & @danakhumphrey about animal welfare, the importance of fostering and adoption, & animal nutrition.

When our partner shelter found him in an alley in Nandaime, Nicaragua, he was completely immobile and couldn’t even lift his head 💔 He was on the brink of death, but thanks to YOUR generous donations, he is on the path to a full recovery.
