I was a little puppy around 3 months old when they found me in a garbage dump in Jinotepe. I was malnourished, full of parasites, and had a bad skin condition. Rescatando Huellas made me healthy again at their shelter, and then I was adopted by a family that did not take care of me and I became very ill. The family then returned me to the shelter. Unfortunately, the family did not give me my booster shots I got sick with a virus called Distemper, which in most cases is fatal in dogs. I was in the fight for my life. Thanks to the efforts made by two of the volunteers, I survived this terrible disease. I have been living in the shelter for four years and despite the consequences of my illness, I am such a happy dog and I love my life.
